Made for the transfer chain
Use DWTN for the waste transfer workflow your organisation is responsible for. The product serves waste producers, carriers, brokers, dealers and receivers; each organisation remains responsible for the accuracy of its own information and checks.
Basic is for a small operation creating and emailing notes. Team and above add a searchable archive; Business adds multi-depot management and advanced reporting. Enterprise allowances and pricing are agreed by enquiry.
Clear boundaries
DWTN helps capture and share information. It does not determine whether a waste description or code is legally correct, confirm a carrier’s authorisation, or replace the records required for hazardous or special waste. Check the rules for the waste, role and UK nation before a movement.
A waste transfer note and a report submitted to the government’s Digital Waste Tracking service are separate records. DWTN UK supports integration with DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking service for applicable waste receipt reporting, subject to the relevant regulatory requirements and eligibility criteria. Reporting duties depend on the movement, your role, nation and rollout phase. Creating a WTN does not itself submit a receipt report.
