Digital season-ticket management

Keep recurring waste collections organised.

Manage qualifying repeat collections with digital season tickets linked to customers, collection sites and individual movement records.

Check the arrangement

Keep the ticket details aligned with each arrangement.

SAME TRANSFER

Keep the waste and carrier consistent

A season ticket can cover repeated transfers of the same non-hazardous waste when the waste holder and carrier remain the same. Review the record and obtain a fresh agreement when material transfer arrangements change.

LIMITED PERIOD

Up to one year

A season ticket can cover qualifying transfers for up to one year. Set review dates so the arrangement is renewed or replaced when appropriate.

EACH TRANSFER

Keep a separate schedule

Record the date, time, quantity and site for each collection where those details are not fixed in the season ticket.

Retention and changes

Keep the ticket and schedule together.

Retain the season ticket and its schedule for two years after the last transfer. Permit conditions and other records can require additional evidence.

Keep the ticket details aligned with the waste, parties and transfer arrangements. Review the record and obtain a fresh agreement when those arrangements change.

For hazardous waste, use the applicable consignment-note process. This guide covers non-hazardous business waste in England and Wales; use the relevant guidance for other UK jurisdictions.

Digital recordkeeping

Keep the schedule easy to find.

Create a ticket, gather both parties’ electronic acceptance, record each qualifying collection and keep the ticket, schedule and supporting documents together. Find records by customer, site, status or expiry date, and prepare renewals from an existing arrangement. Season Ticket Management is included with Team, Business and Enterprise. Each collection remains a separate movement record, with applicable reporting handled separately.
