Describe what is moving
Record the description, quantity and classification details relevant to the transfer.
Digital waste transfer notes
A WTN records the handover of non-hazardous waste. DWTN UK helps your team capture the details and produce a signed PDF in a consistent workflow.
What the record does
Record the description, quantity and classification details relevant to the transfer.
Capture the transferor, carrier, receiving details and the location of the work.
Bring the applicable confirmations and signatures into the issued document.
Electronic records
England and Wales rules allow electronic transfer notes and electronic signatures. Required information must still be recorded, and the note must remain available for inspection.
DWTN helps assemble the record. Your organisation remains responsible for waste classification, authorised handlers and appropriate documentation.
Read the WTN requirements →DWTN UK supports integration with DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking service for applicable waste receipt reporting, subject to the relevant regulatory requirements and eligibility criteria. Receipt-reporting duties apply only to in-scope facilities and depend on the movement, role, nation and rollout phase. Issuing a WTN does not itself submit a DEFRA report.
