1. The customer’s agreement
Each new DWTN business subscription is offered through a customer-specific Subscription Agreement and Order Particulars. The accepted order identifies the customer’s legal business name, chosen plan, monthly price, term and applicable allowances. Season Ticket Management is included with Team, Business and Enterprise and is not included with Basic. The order, these Terms and Conditions and the versioned Data Processing Terms identified in the order form the contractual documents for that subscription. This page gives general information. The customer’s accepted order and the documents it identifies set out that subscription’s terms.
2. Acceptance and paid access
An authorised representative accepts the customer’s order while signed in to the customer’s DWTN account. That action forms the agreement and records the representative, stated authority, acceptance time and document versions. Account creation and agreement acceptance are followed by Stripe payment. A return from Stripe Checkout alone does not confirm payment or start paid access. Paid access begins after DWTN confirms the initial payment and activates the subscription.
3. Price and monthly renewal
The monthly fee and currency are shown in the accepted order. Payment is taken monthly in advance by recurring card payment through Stripe. Unless the accepted order states otherwise, each paid month renews for a further month and Stripe attempts the recurring payment for that period. The accepted order states the applicable plan allowances and any agreed Enterprise limits.
DWTN UK LTD is not currently VAT registered and does not charge VAT on the stated subscription price. If its tax status changes, it will handle any change to tax treatment under the accepted Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
4. Cancellation and changes
The customer may request cancellation through its authenticated DWTN billing account or by writing to hello@dwtn.uk from its nominated authorised contact before the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. DWTN will confirm the effective date. Refunds, including any exception required by the accepted Terms or applicable law, are governed by the customer’s accepted agreement and Terms and Conditions.
A plan or price change takes effect only after the new price, effective date and any applicable charge have been presented and accepted through the supported billing process. A return from Stripe Checkout is not payment confirmation; subscription status changes only after DWTN verifies the relevant Stripe event.
5. Customer responsibilities and service
The customer remains responsible for the accuracy of its business and waste-transfer information, legal waste classifications, required signatures and its statutory waste duty-of-care and record-keeping duties. DWTN supplies software to help prepare and manage business records; it does not take over a customer’s legal responsibilities or provide legal advice. The customer’s accepted Terms and Conditions describe DWTN’s service, responsibilities, suspension and termination provisions, and the parties’ liability.
Eligible organisations can use the supported DEFRA integration for applicable waste-receipt reporting. An organisation administrator configures the organisation’s connection. Reporting duties depend on regulatory scope and eligibility, and a submission is accepted only when the receiving service confirms it.
6. Incorporated documents and versions
The customer’s accepted Subscription Agreement identifies the exact version of the Terms and Conditions and Data Processing Terms that apply to its order. The customer can read the current public documents from the legal and policies index; the versions recorded at acceptance govern that accepted order unless lawfully varied.
